Dr. Clifford Seyler is a Board Certified Medical Doctor, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and an Associate of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He received his medical degree from University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He trained at Texas Children's Hospital and finished as Chief Resident. Dr. Seyler is a long-time advocate for children's health, particularly in Behavioral Health medicine. Known as the "father" of Mississippi's first seatbelt laws for children, he founded the organization known as C.A.N.D.Y in 1983 and led the way to get these laws passed to protect and reduce injuries to children. It was the second state to do so and was followed in time by all states. Dr. Seyler enjoys photography, gardening, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his wife.
